Ones Like Me 03:09
I snap out from the sleep That I’m livin in, Crushing weight grinds my soul Into Gelatin. Get back, step back, Tryna take my life back. All this and that Shit drives me off track. I gotta keep it together Up in my head and I Just gotta learn to love the weather And the grey skies Because it aint gonna get no better, No one can get it, Ah just fuck it, Forget it. Upon the altar where I lost myself before, I found a better place. Inside the shelter of this heaven that I saw, There was no human race. You see, I breathe out disease, Spit ice that’ll freeze. I think it’s time I get to know myself a little more Inside and out, I’ll spill myself out on the floor So I can see what makes up me And what makes me tick And what makes me scream, it seems That I can never get things right, You’re either out of reach or I’m out of sight and I’m sorry I converse in metaphors and rhymes, but if It makes it any better, I try spit them on time And you’re lucky, Laid back with your apathy and bliss While you bask in your gluttony and don’t give a shit But there’s kids like us That are cursed with a gift, enigmatic passion, Lay back, take a hit, Close your eyes. Upon the altar where I lost myself before, I found a better place. Inside the shelter of this heaven that I saw, There was no human race. I went looking for something new to believe And found the ones like me. I cut the stitches forcing my spirits eyes closed Allowing me to see. Many try but can’t open their eyes, Their brains work but their souls are blind. It must be tough when you’re cold inside; No passion or fire, they don’t live but survive. And I was once just like them, No thought of the stanzas end, Only focusing on my shit. All I learnt was that it’s not worth it. You see, Upon the altar where I lost myself before, I found a better place. Inside the shelter of this heaven that I saw, There was no human race. I went looking for something new to believe And found the ones like me. I cut the stitches forcing my spirits eyes closed Allowing me to see.

How do you know if he’s a politician? He be crackin on your back With that whip like a sergeant. How do you know that him a bloodclot for sho? He be countin his stacks Like the piles of dead soldiers. How do you see through their operation? You crack open your mind To see the cracks in their system. The blood, it flows away, We don’t want your war. The money pours like rain, Protected by their laws. It’s time to fight today But what we’re fighting for Is a world with no more Greedy fucking corporate whores. No way, No way. We will have our say. No way, No way, Won’t do what you say. How do you know if he’s a politician? He be crackin on your back With that whip like a sergeant. How do you know that him a bloodclot for sho? He be countin his stacks Like the piles of dead soldiers. How do you see through their operation? You crack open your mind To see the cracks in their system. Wah di rass, Me rhaatid with them fassyhole, Them wanga-gut, eat the peoples heart and soul. This rudeboy say no more Of this fascist man. Tear him down, fight them back We must, we can.

D.M.C. 02:23
Those places have meanings, Those faces bared feelings That meant something to you and I. The neighborhood screaming, The film on the screen in The places we hung out at night. I need some DMC To make sense of this life, Overwhelmed by these feelings It’s been a weird night. I’ve tried to understand My brain and comprehend I just can’t believe in A simpler life. Coz what i need is DMC. What I need. DMC. What I need.

Monophobia 04:37
So I'm trapped in my head at the edge of a bed once again, what a surprise, I've never felt so alive and so dead inside at the same time and I don't wanna be alone again so please stay because I need your company. I wanna forget how to feel everything, I wanna learn to be my own crutch and relief. Is it okay to feel alone even when I know you're here? It makes my heart feel as cold as stone. It makes me feel like I should just disappear. Back in my dreams I have these surreal and vivid encounters and I wish I knew what they meant. but some things are better left misunderstood and some things are better off dead. and I don't wanna be alone again so please stay because I need your company I wanna forget how to feel everything, I wanna learn to be my own crutch and relief. Is it okay to feel alone even when I know you're here? It makes my heart feel as cold as stone and It makes me feel like I should just disappear. You crawled inside of my eyes and now I only feel fear. When I see myself at night the mirror screams at me in tears. I thought you only left marks on my heart you're in my thoughts and my dreams too because when I finally get some sleep, I only dream of you.

Lights out, it doesn't matter. The sky will light up pretty soon at the crack of dawn, that's when the madness sets in, realize you're out of sync with the life you're livin. It’s alright though, you're not alone in it, there's always your shadow so learn to love all your own thoughts, one day you'll realize something. So take it or leave it, These thoughts will be all that we’ve got. Except badly constructed sentences and rhythmic creations leave my senses all hindered, define what it means to be truly awake, I wonder whether it's a nap or my life I should take. Shit, i cant do this, I think I’m gonna break. What shit should I take to ever feel like I am free. Please God replace yourself with someone like me. Instead he just put me inside of your minds where I reside in your conscience, planting these seeds.

You just don’t know what you’ve got Until it’s what you’ve lost Grow up fast and hard And you’ll face the costs Adolescent games Turn to bills you gotta to pay, You’ll be stuck wishing For another yesterday. Count your cents And oil up your bicycle chains. Some stolen cigarettes And a hoody in case of rain, I know that I would Trade in my life for that again. Contemplating ditching home And hopping that freight train. Nostalgia will drive a man insane. You just don’t know what you’ve got Until it’s what you’ve lost Grow up fast and hard And you’ll face the costs Adolescent games Turn to bills you gotta pay, You’ll be stuck wishing For another yesterday.

Sail Away 02:25
Tonight I drink alone For those that fell behind For those that became one With the sands of time My comrades and foes, My brothers and sisters. My family and friends My partners and lovers. Now that you are gone, You will live on in song. Although our hearts may plead for one more day. Through our losses we become strong, Through constant pain we’ve learned to march on. If we cry a river, we sail away. My friend, I know my transparency is at it’s peak. A hole in my heart That I’ve filled with whiskey. My brother, please Don’t lose the life in your eyes Don’t let the world take you, Please God, don’t let him die. Now that you are gone, You will live on in song. Although our hearts may plead for one more day. Through our losses we become strong, Through constant pain we’ve learned to march on. If we cry a river, we sail away. We sail away. We sail away.

Road Kill 04:05
What do I believe? What do I know? This human problem needs to go. Dragging corpses off the roads, Innocent animals forced to go. We exit life, we give them peace. Save the planet, kill yourself, please. To resist it or support it Our extinction has a purpose, Every human, every problem, Many solutions to solve them; Voluntary mass extinction, Humble exit, peaceful ending, Misanthropic or respectful, Selfless love or merely hateful. What do I believe? What do I know? This human problem needs to go. Dragging corpses off the roads, Innocent animals forced to go. We exit life, we give them peace. Save the planet, kill yourself, please. This shit, it means everything to me. Goodbye mankind, Very kind of you, Goodbye mankind, Humane, honest, true.

I woke up and I realized that I’ve got nothing to lose, I’ll grow old or I may die young But I’ll never lose my youth. I’ll spend my life and the rest of my time On this earth in pursuit of the truth I’ll help out and do what I can To walk in every wise man’s shoes Like you. Many people in my heart and memories, Many sights, many faces and smiles. Our blurry nights and the pains that we feel Kinda help us get to know ourselves. I wish you well with your ventures my friend, Be strong, be ever growing and loud Coz after all we’re just young pirates wanting treasures And to make someone in our lives proud. Something speaks to me before I fall asleep. It says to chase my dreams, and not to chase money. It tries to tell me how to find true love and peace. It teaches me things that I never knew about me. I swear I’ll try my best to be happy Living with only the things that I need, It’s kinda difficult to do so Living in a world that rewards greed. I swear at some point I’ll try and learn To have a small amount of humility. I’ll spend the rest of my days trying to figure out How to be the best version of me. You’ll see. Something speaks to me before I fall asleep. It says to chase my dreams, and not to chase money. It tries to tell me how to find true love and peace. It teaches me things that I never knew about me. Something speaks to me before I fall asleep. It says to chase my dreams, and not to chase money. It tries to tell me how to find true love and peace. It teaches me things that I never knew about me.
